I have attended two high school graduation ceremonies in the past month, and I have come away with the notion that there are some parents out there who need to actually pay attention to what their daughters are wearing when they leave the house. Oh, and not just pay attention – they need to actually CARE and INTERVENE if their daughter is hardly distinguishable from a Colfax prostitute.
For example, while making my way to one of the entry doors into the Lecture Hall at the Denver Convention Center, I happened to fall in behind two teenage girls. One of them was wearing a white bubble skirt (the type with elastic at the base so it puffs out slightly), and the material was sheer. I could make out not only the fact that she was wearing a thong, but that it was slightly peach in color with a flower print at the top, and I could tell that her butt cheeks had a tan. How wrong is that? This poor girl was practically baring her ass to the world and sundry, and all I wanted to do was run behind her and hold the bouquet of flowers for my niece to cover her backside.
These poor girls these days. It’s so sad to me that their role models in the entertainment world are giving them such skanky lows to sink to for that little bit of male attention for which they all strive.
